This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Plai ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use it. By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Summary

• The App does not require an account and does not ask you for your name, email, or other directly identifying information.
• Your game progress is stored locally on your device.
• The App shows ads through Google AdMob, which collects certain device data (including your advertising ID) to serve and measure ads.
• The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to count app opens and sessions so we can see how the game is performing. This is aggregate usage measurement, not a profile of you.
• For users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, we present a consent prompt before personalized ads are used.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect personal information directly. However, information is collected automatically by the App and by the third-party advertising and analytics services we use:

• Advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID / AD ID).
• App instance identifier — a random, app-specific ID used by analytics to count unique installs.
• Device and technical information such as device model, operating system version, language, country/region, app version, and network information.
• Ad interaction and usage data such as ads requested, shown, and rewarded.
• App usage events such as first open, session start, screen views, and app removal.
• Approximate (coarse) location derived from your IP address, as used by the advertising and analytics services.

Your game data (level progress, in-game currency, settings) is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us.

3. How Information Is Used

• To display advertisements, including optional rewarded ads you choose to watch in exchange for in-game rewards.
• To measure ad performance and prevent fraud/abuse.
• To measure app usage in aggregate — how many people open the App, how long they play, and which screens they reach — so we can fix problems and improve the game.
• To understand which marketing channels bring people who actually play the game.
• To comply with legal obligations and applicable advertising policies.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

5. Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is used in aggregate — for example how many people open the App after installing it, how long sessions last, and which screens are reached. This helps us fix problems and decide what to build next.

Analytics automatically collects:

• An app instance identifier — a random, app-specific ID that lets Google count unique installs. It is not your name, email, or Google account, and it is reset if you reinstall the App or clear its data.
• Automatic app events such as first open, session start, screen views, and app removal.
• Device and technical information such as device model, operating system version, language, and app version.
• Approximate (coarse) country or region derived from your IP address.
• Your advertising identifier, which the analytics service also reads on Android.

We do not send your game progress, your saved village, or any text you enter (such as your village name) to Google Analytics. See Firebase Privacy and Security and the Google Privacy Policy for how Google processes this data.

6. Consent (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)

Where required by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and related laws, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to ask for your consent before personalized advertising and related data processing take place. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the privacy options available in the App's settings (where applicable). If you do not consent, you may receive non-personalized ads or no ads.

Your choice is also passed to Google Analytics, which stops using data for advertising purposes when you decline. Basic analytics measurement (such as counting app opens and sessions) continues so that we can tell how the App is performing overall.

7. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. Data collected automatically for advertising is shared with our advertising provider (Google) and its ad technology partners solely to deliver and measure ads, as described in their policies. Analytics data is processed by Google as our analytics provider, and aggregate results may be shared with Google's advertising services so we can measure which marketing channels bring people who actually play the game. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of users.

8. Data Retention

We do not store your personal data on our own servers. Data processed by Google for advertising and analytics is retained according to Google's policies; analytics event data is retained for a limited period set in our Google Analytics configuration. Game progress stored on your device remains until you delete the App or clear its data.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. 11. Managing Ad Personalization and Analytics

You can control advertising and analytics on your device at any time:

• Android: Settings → Privacy / Google → Ads, where you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization (or delete the advertising ID).
• Manage Google ad settings at My Ad Center.
• Analytics: clearing the App's data or uninstalling it resets the app instance identifier, which disconnects future measurement from any previous activity.
• In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland you can change or withdraw your advertising consent through the App's privacy options, which also limits how analytics data is used for advertising.

12. Data Security

Information transmitted for advertising is sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. While no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, we and our service providers take reasonable measures to protect data.

13. International Data Transfers

Our advertising and analytics provider (Google) may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Such transfers are governed by the provider's policies and applicable safeguards.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
